Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap

Welcome to Siem Reap, the provincial capital and gateway to the ancient Angkor temples. Our guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. After a short break, our guide will take you for an orientation city tour by tuk tuk - the typical local means of transportation. You will be driven along the main bustling streets and the Old City Market. Accommodation: Tara Angkor Hotel (4 stars) or similar
Day 2

Day 2: Siem Reap - Angkor Tour

Wake up early to be transferred for picking up the most beautiful, haunting and spiritual moment to visit magnificent Angkor Wat at dawn. After that, our guide will walk you to the former capital, the Angkor Thom. Go along a path with statues of gods and devils alongside to the south gate of the city. Then head forward to visit Bayon Temple – famed for 216 giant smiling faces carved on 54 stupas, Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. We will continue to the Ta Prohm Temple. You will definitely marvel at the wonderful scene of the temple as several python-like tree branches and roots tightly wind the remnants of the temple. After that follows a visit to the Bakheng Hill. Climb up to the top and you will have a visual feast of the beautiful sunset scene at the Bakheng Temple. In the evening, a splendid Apsara Dinner Show awaits you. Day 3

Day 3: Siem Reap - Angkor Tour

We will have a morning excursion to the Rolous Group, built during the 9th century, which is considered the beginning of the Angkor architecture. The three temples – Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong are the most outstanding, of which our guide will lead you to enjoy a careful appreciation. The afternoon trip will guide you to another two magnificent sites, the Temple of Banteay Srei and Preah Khan Temple. Meals: Breakfast, lunch Accommodation: Tara Angkor Hotel (4 stars) or similar
Day 4

Day 4: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh

In the morning, you will visit a Khmer village as well as a floating village on Tonle Sap Lake, to have a glimpse of local people’s life. After that, a private ride will take you to the airport for your onward flight to Phnom Penh. The local guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Day 5

Day 5: Mekong Islands – Biking & Boat trip

After breakfast, we will head to the Mekong Islands, about 20km from Phnom Penh by crossing Tonle Sap River and Mekong River by boat. Take a leisurely bike ride along the countryside of a Khmer community to visit the villages and meet with the local people at their farm. Return to Phnom Pehn via a 2-hour boat ride along the Mekong River. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and if time permits, the National Museum. Day 6

Day 6: Phnom Penh – Ta Keo – Kep

The journey southwards begins as we depart Phnom Penh and make our first stop at Phnom Chisor Temple. A 500-step path leads to the top of the hill from which we can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding areas. Take a drive to the quiet town of Takeo before a quick jaunt via boat to Angkor Borei town, located just a few kilometers from the Vietnam border. There is a small museum that displays several reproductions of sculptures from the nearby ruins and few artifacts. We continue our boat trip to visit a pre-Angkorian style temple of Phnom Da and a nearby temple of Asram Maharosei. After arrival, our guide will help you to check in the boutique seaside hotel in Kep. Meals: Breakfast, lunch Accommodation: Veranda Kep Resort (4 stars) or similar
Day 7

Day 7: Kep – Kampot – Rabbit Island

This morning, we will travel through delightful scenery of rice paddies, sugar palm trees, traditional wooden houses, and karst limestone outcrops on the way to the cave of Phnom Chhnork. Inside the cave you will discover the remains of a 7th century brick temple. After this you will visit the caves of Phnom Sla’an, if you are feeling adventurous you can scramble through this cave until you magically appear into the sunlight on the top of the hill, being rewarded with perhaps some of the most beautiful views in Cambodia, with the traditional countryside stretching off into the Gulf of Thailand and its many islands. During the 1960s, Kampot was world famous for its aromatic pepper. A visit at pepper plantation will help you understand why, and you can observe the work of local community living there. Spend the afternoon on Rabbit Island before we return to the hotel in Kep. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Veranda Kep Resort (4 stars) or similar
Day 8

Day 8: Kep - Phnom Penh Departure

After checking out the hotel, a private ride will take you to Phnom Penh Airport, which takes around 3 hours. We wish you a nice trip home! Meals: Breakfast
